Tournament Analysis

Basically I got slaughtered on the final day. Los Osos wasn’t as good of a team as I thought, but expect them to be very very good next year because the majority of their roster are 10th/11th graders. I am going to do a complete re-evaluation of Josh Smith, the first analysis was based off of stuff I had read, and now that I have seen him first hand, I have a different opinion. Bishop O’Connell could be a top 10 team in the country next year. Two of there starters are seniors, but many of their post threats are sophomores or juniors and Kendall Marshall is only a junior himself. I still really have no clue how Montgomery won, but it proves that the most talented or best-funded team doesn’t always win. Montgomery plays all out, 100% effort from the starters and their players off the bench. Mike Panaggio stepped up big time and Justin Cobbs was incredibly impressive. But they won because everyone on their team hustled and ran and play defense…for all 32 minutes.

I’ll delve more indepth in a little bit guys.

Have no clue how Bishop Montie won ?? It’s not about who has the five best, its about who has the best five.

That’s a really good line. I should’ve been more clear, I know how they won, I was just shocked that it happened.
